During the autumn of 2009 Mike Lennon our chief sail designer has been re-designing our squib sails to come up with an even better package for the 2010 season. We have conducted 2 vigorous two boat tuning sessions. One at Rutland reservoir prior to the inlands and the second session was held on the Solent.
The 2009 Hyde squibs sails have proved very capable sails able to win races at nearly all the events on the squib circuit. However, once the Hyde sails team set themselves a target there is no letting up. So in this case we will not be happy until the race wins turn into a championship win!
Throughout the Autumn/Winter 2009 Hyde sails has thrown all their resources at the task. Mike Lennon has been using the most advanced sail software developed by the Italian Americas cup team to design the 2010 squib sails this allows Hyde sails to constantly replicate shape designed by Mike in finished products. We have put all these resources behind this project to gain that speed edge which will be able to take you to the top step on the podium.
