The new Hyde Squib genoa is a big improvement on previous designs. It is considerably deeper and more powerful in the lower half without any sacrifice in pointing. It is flatter than its predecessor in the head which has improved windward performance in a blow. The foot now seals against the deck more effectively. The new webbing and clip hanks enable the jib to be hanked on and left flaked on the
deck while the boat is on the mooring. Genoas to fit the new roller systems are also available to the same design.
