The new rules jib again has a lower clew to help improve the look of the rig but primarily to get a low sheeting angle and to make the most of the power that is generated from the base of the sail.

SWALLOW MAINSAIL
The new rules mainsail is now Tri Radial in construction and built from Polyester Laminate, it includes the new larger Roach profile that is now required in the class rules.

SWALLOW SPINNAKER
Developed during 2007, the S07B spinnaker was designed on SailPack, the software developed for the Americas Cup. This sail is a substantial improvement on its predecessor. With a radial base and cross cut upper sections, the sail is fast both running and reaching.
